Founded in 2018 by NIFT alumni Pritam Nand Prasad, SELVEDGE explores the meeting point of Indian craftsmanship and contemporary design. We work closely with artisans to reinterpret traditional techniques through a modern lens, keeping craft relevant for future generations. For us, luxury is about participation—the time, skill and human touch behind every piece. We choose natural, thoughtfully sourced materials and celebrate the beauty of handmade imperfections.

Selvedge Design is a contemporary textile design studio exploring the relationship between material, craft and art. We transform fabric, thread and unconventional textile techniques into expressive pieces for fashion, interiors and contemporary spaces.
